This all started with a girl who had a dream to make the world a better place.
You can't go online, watch TV or step out of your front door without hearing of the sadness our world faces. It’s overwhelming. But we were never meant to sit around and do nothing.
In 2012, our founder, Amanda, decided to send a box of hand woven belts to survivors of trafficking. Just a small reminder that someone cares. Since then, Mandi’s Makings has sent over 2,000 gifts to those in need. And, women all over the world are joining in to help create the gifts being sent.
We quickly realized what God planned was bigger than any ONE person. Over the last 5 years, we have partnered with shops and boutiques from Florida to Texas, where our handmade gifts are sold and awareness is raised. We LOVE our partner shops! To see them share our story with their customers make our heart skip a beat.
And we are excited, because as of Spring 2018, we will begin our Legacy Blanket initiative. It's our way of being able to reach more kids and families in need to show them some love and remind them they are not alone! From the beginning, we knew raising awareness for human trafficking was just the beginning. Read more about our Legacy Blankets here.
Because the answer is always LOVE.
